Default Impact sensors

Hello,

Recently I had my '96 suburban in the shop to have it checked out for an air bag light that is constantly displaying, they are having trouble reading the code on the reader, but are 95% sure that it is the air bag sensors. Well since GM has discontinued those parts and no after market ones are to be found this is becoming a big issue.

I have tried it seems almost every online site, local junk yard/scrap yard in my general area.

Thankfully I was able to connect with someone on Facebook that has a parts only vehicle, He is willing to sell me his.

My Question for y'all is that his parts Silverado is a '97..... Mine being a '96 suburban will those sensors work from his truck?

Also if anyone has any leads or suggestions as to where I can locate like new or new ones it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks all.
