ok so heres the exhaust i just installed on my tahoe its a cat back slp exhaust for a 2010 suburban (mistake from supplier) required a bit of modification to the intermediate pipe(shortening) and turned out fantastic!. quiet at idle and sound deep and rumbly at 2500+rpms. no drone at all. it looks awsome i feel a little power increase and better response. im going to add a k&n CAI and a set of headers that are just bolt on to stock y pipe. really was expecting this exhuast to be a bit louder and it wasnt so im still looking for a specific sound and i think headers will do the trick..

maby high flow cats....would you just cut the old ones out and weld the new ones in? any the shorty headers + CAI and BB tune should put me right where i want to be. maby a supercharger for 2011...who knows. corvette tahoe sounds cool to me... plus still have room for my 3 12" subs

Will the shorty headers still allow the use of the "pup" cats?
What's the diameter of the tailpipe? And what's the purpose of the 2 into 1 at the back of the muffler?
The exit looks just like the SLP resonator eliminator which is up to $180 now. Plus shipping.

the headers im looking at i think directly replace just the headers bolted to the block, and then attach to the y pipe with a cat on each bank. from the cat-- back everything is 3 inch, and i was also wondering why it exits dual out of the muffler and joins to one. but this always leaves the option of going for duals with little fab work to be done
