Default K & N FILTER RECHARGING

Did I read somewhere in tis Forum about the "amount" of spray to use when Cleaning/recharging the K&N air filters on our Tahoe's?
Something about it clogging up a Sensor (MAS/MAP) if you use too much?
I couldn't locate the Thread again.
Any help would be appreciated.

Yes, you can over lubricate the filter. What it will "mess" up is the MAFS. Mass Air Flow Sensor.

So are there any safegaurds in place to prevent this?
How about a VERY LIGHT coating?
Dose anyone have any Tips, methods thats worked for them?
What happens if it does screw-up the MAS Sensor, what do you have to do?
Is it the same for any year Tahoe, I have a 96?
