Default LARGE AFTERMARKET Performance Tires? What U Got? Rate them.

Hey everyone. I am getting ready to buy some 24 inch wheels this week. I have been reading reviews on tires. I am going to get 305/35/24. I have read that some arent so good in water, some are. I have read some are loud and have a lot of road noise!

I dont want any additional road noise. What aftermarket 20+ tire do you have? How is the loudness, wear, traction, water traction? Thanks guys!

I would stick with TOYO. The ones I like are Proxes S/T. They are quite and handle very well. With toyo, you can buy them and ride on them for 500 miles, if you aren't happy with them you can return them and get a full refund. So not to bad of a deal.

For some reason the Toyo arent common among the tire distributors in my area? The 3 I was considering are the Flaken STZ04, Hankook Ventus, and NItto 420S? ANyone have any feedback on these?

I have Nexxon 305-35-24. They look cool, ride good and do well in the rain.

The three you just are looking at, me personally I don't like. If I had to pick out of those three, I would choose Nitto. Hancook & Flaken to me aren't very good at all. But that's just my take on it.

I like the Nitto Terra Grappler. Mine is 4WD, so no need to put high performance tires on a 4wd vehicle. I sure cant go through any muddy areas, sand, etc. with the other ones.

I'm rolling 305/40/22 Yokohama Parada's Spec-X and I'm pretty happy with them. Really smooth ride, no road noise to speak of, no vibration detected from inside, and pretty good grip on wet roads. Really can't speak to the wear as they're brand new.

As to the Proxes ST's I had them on the Expedition I just got rid of and they were an excellent tire. If I hadn't got the great deal on the tire/wheel package I would have went with those instead of the Yokohamas.
