Hello all... Im thinking of adding a Billet or other type grill to the front of my 2007 Black LTZ... I already ordered the Silver Chrome Bowtie, but would like to see some real life pics of some grilles... Id appreciate any pics.

Thanks!

just make sure they are stainless steel. most manufacturers make them in aluminum and in the pics you cant always tell the difference. i made sure of it when i bought my grill from ses trims. you should too. cleaning stainless steel is also very important. make sure to get a good polish or wax.

Tractor, Can you also post the part numbers for your grille and bowtie? Did these pieces require any cutting or were they just bolt ons? Did you find the install to be easy, or did it require modifications?

Sorry for all the questions, I am not the best with tools and wanted to look into doing this myself.

I'm sorry but I do not know the part numbers. I picked up the grille and the front bowtie from a place called Autobacs. Luckily there's a few of them here in So Cal and the closest one is only 15 minutes from my house. I paid about $150 for both. I put in both myself but it wasn't easy. I did a lot of thinking and figuring it out then it got pretty easy. The grille is an insert and I didn't have to to make any cuts. There held on by 2 screws/bolts. The front bowtie is a litte more difficult because I had a hard time with the screws. I wouldn't latch on to the bowtie. Right now it's on pretty good, but it can go at any second.

I bought the back bowtie from autoaccessory4u.com which was only 5 minutes from my work. But before I put it in, I removed the gold plate of the factory bowtie, thus the brank new rear chrome bowtie is sitting in my garage.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

How about a heavy mesh grille, kind of like the Strut brand of Caddy Escalade and Chryysler 300 fame.......anyone got a line on this particular style?
