Any ideas on leveling out my 04 tahoe 2wd? better to lift the rear or raise the front? i would rather lower the rear and maybe get a lil better handling.

There's plenty of kit's on line. 2000-2006 Tahoe's don't use shackles they use coil springs in the rear and torsion bars up front. So you could get a kit that's just rear springs. Or they also sell kits that have rear spring and torsion keys for the front.

Here's a couple of kits:

i thought only 4wd trucks had torsion bars? i could be wrong, lol i dont know much about suspension. like i said all i wanna do is level it out and maybe lower it a inch or two. mainly just to improve the handling. would springs be best for this? and would it have any negative effects on any other part of my truck?

Nope 2WD Have torsion bars also. Yes springs would be best to lower the truck. You shouldn't have any negative effects as long as your not slamming the truck. Both of the brands I linked to are very reputable suspension company's.

How do you raise with torsion bars, and what are the pros and cons. I am looking to lift my 04 4wd but most full suspension kits are a little out of my price range right now.
