Default Lighting Assembly above rear view mirror removal....?

Hi guys, Im looking for a quick "how to" on removing the plastic lighting assembly above the rear view mirror in my 07 tahoe. I want to borrow some power from up there to run/charge my navigation unit mounted beside the mirror. Any help would be appreciated!

You can tap into 12V switched power at the mirror wiring harnes. It plugs into the back of the mirror on the drivers side.

Brilliant!

Do you have a schematic of the wires by any chance?

Ok, I went out there with a multimeter and found a power.... I was ~10v steady but should work great when I dummy it down to 5v.
