Default Location of OnStar components on 99 Esc, Tahoe, Denali

Searched this forum for info on Onstar with no results. Poured over "All Data" at local library with no results either.

I'm looking for all components and locations of a 1999 OnStar system(old unsupported analog system) on the escalade, tahoe or denali of that year. Would be interested in finding out how OnStar sys actually interfaces to other devices and modules in vehicle. Knowing this would help to determine if once component removal is done will it affect usability of SUV.

This really has me wondering how removal can be done without adversely affecting this vehicle. Did search internet but came up with nothing for that year.

Any ideas? Would really like to remove that stuff as it is only consuming power and does not add value to anything for this vehicle.

Thanks,
Earth Rider
