Default Magna Flow or factory exhaust?

I have a 1995 Tahoe 4X4. K&N filter, four rivers front & rear shafts, towing B&M shift Kit. I am fixing to swap out the MagnaFlow for a factory setup. Am I making a mistake? I figure better fuel mileage and maybe performance. ????????? Can't swap due to full three inch exhaust on my 95 and full 2 inch on 99 tahoe. Both 5.7 both 4x4, who would have thought.
