mode door actuator issues
So on my 2004 suburban, the mod door actuator wasn't working properly. I replaced it with a Delco part and a new control head as well used from eBay. When I select the modes as far as head or feet or defrost it won't turn the actuator, I replaced the head unit as the well same thing I check the cable coming in was getting voltage and working properly. Hence, I order another actuator and the same issues. Has anyone come across those and fixed them.I replaced the head unit with the same thing. I checked the wire it's getting power. I worked for 1 min and stopped for good. it won't acknowledge the commands, anyone, I even ordered a replacement actuator thinking its bad, and still the same thing

Welcome from Florida. When installing an actuator never hook up the electric and have it cycle. this will throw it out of range and it will have to be reset before it will work. You have to fully install it before hooking up the wires!

I installed a Dorman under-dash actuator in our 2005 Yukon Denali and had to have the computer learn to recognize it, used information from Internet. Like standing on one foot and waving a dead chicken over your head.....
