Still think you should check out the one I got from Autopartsgallery for $85 shipped. It's polished aluminum (very shiny) and must have a clear coat on it as it has made it thru the KC winter w/o discoloring.

I ended up buying that one. I was disapointed. WEll I should say it is ok for the money! The bars bend easily, there is also a huge gap above the front bowtie. I have hammered, bent, yanked, and cussed that thing. I just dont think it fits right. It also dents and dings very easy. Mine might be slightly different, it has already started to chip up! From a distance it looks good, however it isnt quit what I am looking for!

I really just want one like flatahoe's. I want the closed look from a distance, smaller gaps betwen the bars. WHY WONT HE ANSWER ME AND SHOW ME THE SELLER !

This is the grille that angel said is the grille on flatahoe's Hoe in his very first post! What do you guys think? It doesnt have the same shine!

Maybe he's afraid you will move to FLA. I agree that they bend easy, in fact my had a couple of ends bent as rec'd and didn't have enuf washers. I really got it because I wanted to see how it looked. I think one that requires removal of existing grill might look better because it would be recessed (I assume). The stock grills appear like they might be removable but not sure. Those tabs look like they are all that hold them in.

Carriage Works is here in KC so might go look at their's sometime.

Ok Biglg, now you did it. After reading your post about your grille I went out and looked at mine. Now I dont like it for the same reasons you quoted. I have to get another one. Can you post a picture of your new one or pm one to me.
Also I am interested in the one in this post, onflatahoe's. So if you find out where he got it, I would like to know also.

Well if FLATAHOE would tell us what grille he has it would be solved. But I cant find that particular grille he has. I guess he isnt responding because he doesnt want us to have the same one, .
