...just curious... you bought a performance gas sucker, and are concerned about fuel economy?
What's the EPA sticker say?

Thats pretty lousy gas mileage. I've broken in quite a few engines and gas mileage didnt improve all that much.

Did you leave the stock motor oil in? Don't drain it early. Let everything seat in. Don't use any additives.

Take it back to the dealer and let them work on it. Maybe someone made a mistake somewhere.

Alb: Welcome to the forum.
If you drive it like my wife drives her Sequoia, it probably isn't that bad. My 2010 Tahoe 5.3 got about 12 to 13 MPG in town in about 17 to 18 MPG on the highway. Those are actual calculated figures, not the DIC computer generated display. It always was about 0.5 MPG optimistic.

I'm also dismayed. I thought my 09 Tahoe could pull off 16 MPG. Nope. Closer to 14.
Luckily it's only for work and home and I fill up 2x a month max.

The boat on the other hand... that sucker is a 113 gallon tank and on the water last weekend was $3.46/gallon. UFHRKKEERRRR right in the wallet!

I was counting the days until I got to test drive the Jag iPace, but apparently until 2020 the batteries in them will suck...
I'll still test drive it, but I'm not going to place an order when I know something that's a LARGE part of the cost of the car will be much better in 2yrs.
Which leaves me between a used Model X and Model Y in also 2020... but i want it nooowwwwhhhwwwwhhhhhhwwwww
