RE: NEW MEMBER POSSIBLE TRANSFER
I owned a 2001 Tahoe many years ago, put over 30K miles on it without a single issue, they are not a trouble prone vehicle.
I would not hesitate buying a used Tahoe so long as it was in good shape and well cared for.

RE: NEW MEMBER POSSIBLE TRANSFER
I have the 2000 Tahoe, (newer style) and I haven't let it go yet. I like the interior of my 2007 but I still kind of like the looks of the 2000 better. I guess I really like the abscence of that thing that sits over the rear lift best of all. Trouble has been all but non-existant and I bought it with 80,000 miles on it and now have 138,000. Probably was why I went out and got the 2007. I even bought the same color and looked for the same equipment. In fact I think I like the lumbar supports better in the 2000.
