Default NewB question about wheels

I'm planning to install 24" aftermarket wheels on my 2007 Tahoe. I was wondering if this will void my warranty when it comes to transmission problems?

I'm not 100% sure but, I am going to say no it wouldn't void the warranty.

No, but it will slow you down and it will ride a lot rougher.

Agreed... they are designed to hold up to a 20" rim; and I assume 22 since the esky uses those on the same frame unless it has better brakes or something.

other than looks, which is subjective, you will lose more than you gain.

More weight = slower to speed up, slower to slow down, more wear and tear on the brakes, shocks, etc... these are facts. I run a 35" tire on my wrangler it puts WAY WAY more stress on parts, it likes to eat hubs in the front, and I've shredded two u-joints and axle shafts....

get some 20s or 22s...

If your dead set on them however, it's your truck!

GM does offer 22"s for the Tahoe now. If you go w/ 24s, better plan on bigger brakes due to the extra rotating mass.
