Default Oil Consumption

I read that the Suburban (probably other GM trucks too) use around 2 quarts of oil between changes. Does anyone know if thats true? The reason I dumped my Cadillac DTS with that craptacular Northstar engine is because it drank as much oil as it did gas and I don't want to get into that situation again. I figured someone who actually owns one might be able to tell me for sure.

Never heard that before! Only if the engine has problems.
