Peripheral iPOD interface install

Peripheral iPOD interface install
I just installed the Peripheral PXDP3 ipod interface for 07' with NAV.
The install itself took 2 minutes. Once you locate the XM receiver behind the glovebox, it's just a matter of installing their cable in between and doing the initialization bit.
Overall painless but I am unhappy with the functionality. It does not match what is illustrated in the manual and there is no listing for albums or playlists - just artist and track andquite limited at that. I will have to contact them and ask what is not working properly. Tested with a new Nano and a new 60GB video.
Wheel buttons and some of the NAV buttons work pretty well and there is no problem jumping between XM and ipod with a couple of clicks,
Sound is as good as any other source (CD is still better) and therefore limited by the rather lackluster performance of our Bose system. That would need to be seriously upgraded as well.
