Cool Power steering failure

after a sharp set of turns the power steering completely failed in my 2002 tahoe. No previous noises or resistance. No leaks or obvious damage to shaft.

Anyone ever had this happen before?

Power steering pump still spinning?

the pulley is still spinning, belt looks fine too. Fluid levels are full.
