Rcdlr(controls key fobs and tpms) recently went bad. Just replaced the rcdlr and tpms immediately began working but my key fobs doesn’t work. I tried to reprogram them but my DIC doesn’t give me the “relearn remote” option and I tried the manual turn key on/off 8 times stopping in the on position and then holding the lock/unlock buttons on the fob within 10 seconds. I’m stuck at this point PLEASE HELP ME with any advice or tips. And yes key fobs have new batteries in them.
That RCDLR is a pain when it goes out — had mine replaced on my '22 Silverado and the dealer tried to tell me it was a $400 job until I pushed back a bit. Make sure they reprogram all your fobs after the swap or you'll be standing in a parking lot looking dumb wondering why nothing works lol.
