I have 95 Tahoe with the rear door option. The door on the left is stuck at the top and will not open. I know that I might have to replace the latch assembly, but it would be nice to get the door open. The bottom flexes out slightly when you pull the latch so the bottom releases. I can see the bent rod assembly and what looks like a latch at the top of the door by pulling down the plastic mouldings. Is there a way to manually release the top latch using a screwdriver to get the door open?
