Default Rear lift gate won’t unlock.

2007 Suburban LT. I can’t get my rear latch gate to open. I believe it won’t unlock. I changed some fuses and it unlocked and opened. I came back the next day and it didn’t work again. I tried the fuses again but I can’t get it to work. Help please.

This could be your issue, please research using the youtube link provided below

GRUVENPARTS.COM STRENGTHENED BRASS REAR POWER LIFT GATE GEARS FOR 2006 + GM TRUCKS - Click Here for the Product Page !

** Product Description **
GruvenParts.com is pleased to announce this replacement strengthened BRASS helical spur gear to replace the problematic plastic spur gear found in the rear lift gate actuators on 2006-Present GM trucks including Acadia, Traverse, Enclave, Escalade, Tahoe, Suburban, Yukon, Denali and other GM trucks with a power operating rear lift gate.

As many have discovered, the rear hatch power lift gate in these SUV's utilizes a mechanism which contains a large plastic spur gear that easily strips out, rendering the electric rear lift gate inoperable. When this problem occurs, you need to dismantle the interior panel of the rear lift gate to access the power lift gate actuator, a very time consuming process. Of course the replacement GM lift gate actuator will also come with a cheap, plastic spur gear which will soon strip out and fail, and the whole process repeats.

Don't waste time or hard earned money on more GM parts that will also soon fail!

GruvenParts.com has addressed this issue by designing a strengthened helical spur gear made from solid gear BRASS which is suited to handle the stresses involved in operating the power lift gate mechanism. Once the power lift gate actuator is removed from the vehicle, it’s a simple process to open the top case and remove / replace the discrepant plastic spur gear with the GruvenParts.com high strength brass gear.

This product carries a LIFETIME WARRANTY! Provided you don't burn the vehicle, or otherwise smash the lift gate actuator, we will cover this part FOR LIFE. You would only be responsible for shipping under this warranty.

** Installation Instructions **
Please visit the YouTube link provided on the product page of the GruvenParts.com website by clicking on the link above for instructions on how to remove the actuator from the vehicle without a working power rear lift gate actuator and replace the problematic plastic spur gear.

** Application **
This strengthened brass gear replaces the plastic gear found in the power lift gate mechanism P/N 13-58-14-05 (13581405), 13-50-18-72 (13501872), 13-50-34-67 (13503467), 15-16-38-42 (15163842), 15-83-90-37 (15839037), 13-50-26-98 (13502698), 15-77-98-74 (15779874), 13-58-14-05 (13581405), and 931-107.

This gear also fits many other part numbers, so this list will be continually growing. If your part number isn’t shown in this list, please email us with your part number and vehicle year/make/model and we'll research it!
