Default rear wiper motor question

hello. I have a 2003 suburban 2500 that was built in 2003. I need to replace the rear wiper motor as it is bad. I have done all the tests I.E. pulling wiper off and seeing if spindle turns and etc. the motor itself is bad. I read somewhere, forget where, that in 2003 they changed the rear motor bolt hole pattern. when I have looked at new motors at the auto parts stores websites there is a big price difference between motors for suburban's built in 2002 and ones built in 2003. its a 100$ price difference. for a rear motor built before September 2002 is $99.99 for a rear motor built from October 2002 on it is $200 did they really change the pattern or is it the same for 2000-2006 thanks.
