Default Recurring fuel issue

Hey guys, new to the forum. I look forward to doing a bunch of reading.
so, I'm at my wits end with my wife's 02 suburban. Ive replaced 4 fuel pumps, filter, tank, and relay. All in the last ~3 months. The issue every time is a no start. My rudimentary diagnostics tells me when I turn the key, I can't hear the pump priming. So, I've thrown a new pump or relay on it and it seems to be fixed. I've done no further testing, and I think it's time I need to.
so, where would you guys start?

Sorry, I guess that wasn't all that clear.
no, the problem persists. A fuel pump and/or relay has got the truck going the past handful of times, but it's a fix that lasts anywhere from 2 days to 3 weeks

You're having to replace the relay in that frequency, I'd suggest contact cleaner on the relay base with a good cleaning. Start there

I'll certainly try that. The relay I've only done once. The pump I believe 4 times.

When you replaced the relay, did you replace the pump at that same time? If not, I'd suspect relay base issue, if not, and you replaced them both at the same time, it's an issue with the pump only. Since you post the tank was replaced, was this a new tank? It could be rust, or some other debris floating in the gas tank. You have anyone mad at you, and don't have a locking gas cap?

rohleder644 - Welcome to the forum.

Have you checked the fuel pressure before replacing these pumps?

I would look at the wires going to the fuel pump for any damage to them or the connector.

Busy week, just had a chance to look at the car. I've got power to the plug. The grounds near the pump aren't spotless, but aren't horrible either. The hot wire pin on the plug is brown ish, slightly burned looking. But again, ive got power there. And, it's still the factory square 4 pin plug.
any thoughts?
