Reduced engine power
I’ve had my suburban for about 2 years now since the second day of owning it, I’ve had problems with reduced engine power. Changed the throttle body and it went away for about 2 months then came back, I’ve changed throttle body’s 6 times and they all have the tps with them and they all last 2-3 months before reduced engine pops back up. I’ve changed just the tps and the wiring kit for it and changed the sensor with the pedal as well but it all still only last a couple of months running just as good as if it was new. I can clear codes and it run great for a week or two then reduced engine pops back up. Anyone have any idea on what to do, I love my suburban but this is just old at this point. Anything would be greatly appreciated
post your vehicle info please. year/miles/engine size
Thanks.
You will need to run a full diagnostic scan to see what's causing the reduced power indicator. Get a free scan at your local parts store, and look up your codes on obd-codes.com

I’ve taken it to 5 different shops including 2 Chevy dealers and they all said to get an oem throttle body/tps and that should fix the problem. I’ve not done it since I’ve posted this I’ve bought a Cummins so I don’t drive it anymore besides for a mud toy. But all 7 of them said to get the oem. I wish I could tell you if that works or not
