Remote key entry problems

![Question](https://chevroletforum.com/forum/images/icons/icon5.gif)
I have a 2007 Tahoe and both RKEs that came with it have quit working. I have changed the batteries, and tried reprogramming several times. I also disconnected the battery, one of the FOB worked twice and then stopped again. Is there anything else I can do or am I relagated to taking it to the dealer?
Thanks,
Troy

Welcome to the forum.
Try pulling the DSM fuse from the I/P fuse block for a couple of minutes and then reinstall the fuse. That ought to reset the Remote Control Door Lock Receiver (RCDLR). If that doesn't do it for you, take it in for service. The RCDLRs in those years were buggy across the board due to the TPMS integration.

@73shark, I have finally had a chance to try a few things to try and fix the problem. To answer your question, yes everything quit working . Occasionally out of the clear blue the RKE wil work. I pulled the DSM fuse and it did nothing. Do you have any other suggestions. I took to a local mechanic and he said they can reprogram the RCDLR for $75. I recently paid off my hoe. It' has high mileage but in good shape. I'm trying to keep it new.
