Default replacement trim pieces in Aluminum finish, HELP

Love the 07 Tahoe, hate the wood trim.Does any one know the individual GM part #s for the Aluminum finish trim in the attached picture? I would like tochange some if my interior trim pieces but my dealership is being less than helpful with this project. I know I can order the entire kit from JP Customs but Don'tknow If I want to go full industrial in my truck. I sell bull dozers but don't think I want to drive one every day. I would appreciate help if any one knows.

i like the brushed aluminum alot better than the wood grain...when ordering my vehicle, the dealership would not even entertain the idea of an LT3 with the brushed aluminum. They actually quoted me $1500 to replace the woodgrain after the truck arrived.....I was relieved to find the "kit" available from JP customs, I think their price is fair. I would be interested in some info on taking the dash apart.

what pieces do you plan on replacing? do you think it would look wierd with aluminum and woodgrain installed?

All the dash for sure. I think the steering wheel may be to much with the dash all tined out. The door pieces don't really bother me much but you never know.
My dealer dealer gave me the radio trim and R/S dash/vent part # and GMpartsdirect listed them for $74 and $44. This makes me think I may be able to part out this project for less than the $500 kit price? But we will see.

Here is the kit I put on the my 2007 LT3 Tahoe...

http://www.wooddash.com/item/CHEVROL...its_Tahoe_2007...$265 shipped

I used the brushed aluminum finish and it turned out awesome. The kit is backed with 3M tape and it comes with some type of preparation liquid (which I did not use).

The fitment is really good...but there are a couple spots where the wood trim wanted to show through on a joint or edge...so what I did is fit every piece up before taking the tape backing off and if there was any place that looked like the wood would show through....I used some black touch-up paint and put it on the wood trim where it would've showed prior to putting the overlay on.

It sounds involved but even though I just told how it was done I bet even if someone was looking for the wood trim they couldn't see anywhere where the new brushed aluminum overlay doesn't look stock.

The whole process probably took 1 - 1.5 hours.

if you dont mind, post the part number for each piece, im sure that there are many of us wanting to do this mod.
I agree on the steering wheel, I could probably do without those pieces as the standard wheel is all black, but im thinking that I will need to replace all of the woodgrain.

Not sure if you were wanting me to post part numbers or not but if it was directed at me the link I provided does take you directly to the kit and it comes with all of the pieces in the kit (UG 2949). Also, it looks good with the 2 trim pieces for the steering wheel on.

thanks for posting those part numbers!
I can never search for 07 parts on gmpartsdirect...did you get the part numbers from your dealer, then look them up on gmpartsdirect, or did you find them through the website? Either way, thanks for sharing the info!
my dealer was trying to charge me $200 just for the two steering wheel pieces!!!!

I did most of the home work and found most of the part #s on my own. Today I Took a pic of theinterior of the Z71 to my local dealer and told them to get me a listof part # for the Items in the pic , let were less than excited about doing it but they did.You mentioned that your dealer was charging you 200for the steering wheel parts, I hope they were going to install them for that, full List price is only $77.82 per side.

I ordered all the pieces but I don't know if I will use all of them. If I decide to not use some of the parts I will list them here for sale. I also will post some before and after pics once I install the trim.
