Serious Issues With 07

I have an 07 Tahoe with 104000 and her is a list of the issues I have now:
![Mad](https://chevroletforum.com/forum/images/smilies/mad.gif)
Tabilitrak light on
Service Engine light on
Gear selector light off
Cruise control doesn't work
Rear gate won't open
Whining/whirling noise in the rear
Lack of power
Automatic unlock stopped working
Past Problems:
Battery drain; been through three batteries since I've owned it
Popping from front end passenger side
This has been my favorite vehicle I've ever owned in 35 years of driving. It is paid for and I was hoping to have it for miles and years to come. Now I am sorely disappointed. I have seen some of the same problems with a lot of other owners but have yet to see a definitive answer to the issue.
I believe it to be a systemic issue that GM knows about but the solution is yet to be known (or revealed). At this point, I just want to get it fixed to a point that I can get rid of it.![Frown](https://chevroletforum.com/forum/images/smilies/frown.gif)
From what I have seen on this forum, the GM representative's answer is always to go to a "Certified" GM representative to get it checked. Is this a ploy to gain business for an otherwise suffering corporation.
I may be inclined to take it to the Chevy service center if I had a reasonable expectation that I would get a solution. However, from everything I have read about these problems, they have no clue either.
I appreciate any input.

Welcome to the forum.
There was a software fix for the battery issue early in the model year. Might check to see if it was done on yours.
Check the DIC for auto unlock to see how it's set up.
You can get a free scan at most autoparts stores for most of the other problems.

For #1-5 and #8, check all fuses at IP side panel and under hood
for#6, do you have the rear AC ? this could be the temp sensor mounted in the roof panel (the one in my nieces 03 burb made a similar sound)
for #7 you most likely need to resolve why the check engine light is on...
#3 could also be a poor connection at the IP panel electrical connector...
Did all these items appear at the same time or have they accumulated over a period of time and just weren't addressed right-away?
