Ok 2000 nbs tahoe with 6in fabtech lift 315 75 16 tires new motor trans transfer and axles. truck is almost perfect except... I keep blowing front shocks. do to my current location im having trouble doing research on this problem hopping some one else has solved this issue. Is there a better shock i can run or Is there a dual shock setup I can run. Any advice on this issue would be very much appreciated.

 

What kind of off-road driving do you do? Since you have an NBS, are the torsion bars cranked? What shocks were you using? Do those shocks have the proper compression and extension stroke for the 6" lift? Running extra weight up front like heavy duty bumper, winch, etc.?

 

occasional driving in the mountains but nothing to extreme. Torsion bars are cranked but may need replacment to to fatigue. Im running a set of pro comp 9000 that they recomend for the 6 in lift. I am also running a winch in the front of the truck.
