I keep her in the garage. I'm hoping this vivid color -- blue velvet -- stays true for a decade!

Owned for approximately 1 hour. Stock...for now. Hope to tap the collective minds here when the time comes, seems like a cool forum!

Getting it road ready. A/C needed some service. Had a leaking low side schrader valve. Changed that, evac. system and added almost 3lbs of freon.
Now looks like the A/C pressure switch is acting up. Replacing that this weekend.
Needs some minor things and a good deep cleaning.

Still needs a few minor things and a good deep cleaning. Been making a checklist and looking up tips here and there — honestly, using Overchat AI has been pretty handy for quick answers while wrenching. It’s like having a no-frills AI buddy on standby when I need a second opinion or want to double-check a process.
Sounds like a solid pickup for the price — especially with just 147K on the clock and a single owner. The 5.3 is a reliable motor if it’s been maintained, and having front/rear A/C is a huge plus in a vehicle that size. Good call tackling the A/C first — those little things like the schrader valve and pressure switch can be annoying but make a big difference once sorted out.

Once you get past the minor fixes and give it that deep clean, it should be a really capable and comfortable rig. Are you planning to daily drive it, or is this more of a weekend/family hauler?
