Red face Struggling, Please Help...

Hey there,
I have a 1996 Tahoe, 4wd, 5.7L....
My problem is a couple of weeks ago i started having trouble with shutters and sputtering....I have done a couple of things that i have thought could be the problem, but none have worked....

Here is a list with a little more detail.....
▫. Truck Symptoms
⁃. Runs perfectly for a least 5 Min.
⁃. After that, have to "baby it" (as if it were still slimy)
⁃. If you to drive normal it shutters and sputters,
⁃. this leads to threatening to cut off
⁃. And that is only if it has not already cut off

▫. Things I have Done!
⁃. Replaced Fuel Pressure regulator
⁃. Cleaned Distributor Cap
⁃. Replaced Fuel Filter

Not sure if that helps....ALSO the truck will run fine for the first 4 to 8 min. it is running then thats when everything turns downhill....

Any input would help me out alot....THANKS

my 96 was having trouble, and I cleaned the EGR valve and replace the gasket (mine didn't have one) and the sputtering and hesitation were all gone.
