Default Suburban Infotainment System Issue

I own a 2014 Suburban LT. Over the past few months an issue has developed with the infotainment system display. After turning on the car, the screen flashes the Chevrolet logo and then will display information for whatever radio station it is set to. After a few minutes, however, it will go black and "reset," showing the Chevy logo again and then displaying the radio information again. Each time it cycles through the sound level gets gradually quieter until it is completely silent.

Additionally, the entertainment system is not working properly. When a disk is inserted into the system, it will not read the disk. When in reverse the backup camera will display, but will shut off when the system turns off to start another of these cycles.

Just posting here to see if anyone else has experienced a similar issue and/or to see if anyone might have suggestions on how to rectify this issue. Thanks!

Welcome to the forum.

It sounds like it might be a bad connection someplace causing it to reset and start over.
