Swap my 09 Bose into my 2014 LS?
My 09 Suburban LT Bose 9 speaker system sounds great, new 14 Suburban LS without Bose with 6 speaker sounds pretty bad, base distorts easily. The head units look identical (UU1 with XM) and operate identically. Can I move that great sound over to the 14 easily? Anybody ever swap a Bose system into a non-Bose Suburban? Is the harness in place for amped speakers if that's the difference?

Anything can be done but the question should be how much will it cost to get it done, and is that worth it. I think you will have much better results going with an after market set up. The bose system is nice but it is nowhere near an aftermarket system that costs much less and will give you much more functions/options and way better sound, and (I bet) easier to install. Just my $0.02

I would agree...
might consider adding a powered sub -> powered sub at Crutchfield.com to the stock 2014 as you may loose features by going backwards... for $200 you can add the missing bass
I put the Infinity BassLink into my daughters 09 Cobalt and you can hear it thumping all the way down the street...
