Default Tahoe’s dash lit up like xmas and left my wife with reduced power an hour from home.

Quick google search shows that GM can’t make a TPS that works. 4-5 restarts later, she had power.
Stabilitrack, traction control, CEL all lit up. She was quite upset...


No one had just the TPS local, so new ETB it was. GM gives you an extended warranty, since they know the part is junk. Vehicle is 10k out of this warranty.

Currently idles at 3k in N. Internet says this will relearn in about 100-200 miles.

The inspection is due in March, fingers crossed trade-in occurs before that!

We had AutoZone pull the code, which matched TPS.

Yeah it could easily take 200 miles to relearn, although with my now sold 02' Camaro, it idled just fine after a battery change. It took almost 240 miles to get it to pass the SMOG test, which turned out to be just fine once it "relearned".
