I won't argue since I wasn't there but I was going by what the GM guy in Detroit told me and the fact that mine came w/ the steel wheels and the dealer put on the chrome 20s.

Wouldn't surprise me if he was lying, he missed his chance to be the first BS salesman maybe 1-2000 years ago.

Yes I like the GM one. Also have a black aftermarket console for sale ($30) that fits in between the buckets.
