I am not sure if this will be well received, however I thought I would share a project my son and I have been working for the last 6 weeks. Its a 2000 Tahoe LT that was rolled in Michigan last winter. We picked it up on Facebook for $400. It obviously it wasn't a restore candidate so we originally bought it for the engine to put in my son's 46 ford rat rod.
While he was gone last summer I got board and thought I would start stripping it for parts and scrapping the rest. I had a little too much fun and ended up cutting the top off, to give head room and allow the door to close so I could drive it around on our property. Well I had a hood off a 47 Grain Truck that I had sitting around with a major dent up the middle. Well one thing came after the other and before we knew it, we had a Frankenstein Rat Rod. We have a place near Silver Lake Sand Dunes and this will be our dedicated weekend toy for the dunes.
