RE: tahoe LS factory nav install
I think it will have the Bose logo on the radio faceplate.

RE: tahoe LS factory nav install
If the speakers say Bose, you have Bose.
Another way to find out is to check the window sticker from when you bought the truck. |
RE: tahoe LS factory nav install
I dont see BOSE anywhere on my LS Tahoe. The window sticker only shows the 6-disk/mp3 radio that replaces the standard single cd/mp3 player.
So I'm guessing I'd have to buy a bose amp and wiring. Has anyone added a Factory NAV to a LS Tahoe? IF so what was added? I wonder if I can go after market on the amps and use the factory NAV radio. Then I can go after market speakers as well. |
RE: tahoe LS factory nav install
Look at your A-:Pillars! If you have a small looking speaker cover built into your left and right A-Pillars that says Bose on them you know you have the bose system. If you dont have see bose anywhere then you dont. I am guessing that being an LS it doesnt have BOse! If you dont you will need to go with an aftermarket Nav Unit!

RE: tahoe LS factory nav install
I have a center seat, so I take it I dont have BOSE amp. I heard I can add it and just add inline amps. I'll let everyone know how it goes. I wanted to replace the speakers anyway with MB Quarts. Adding amps will allow me to do so.
Thanks for everyones help. |
How much does changing everything over cost?? I'm trying to change my 2011 LT
