have to be local law enforcement, fire fighter or EMT and not all dealers are aware of the program! have to wait six months to resell, I will prob sell mine and get a suburban, they run about 29K with the front jump seat

sourcing "rear hitch" suggestion
new reply to an old thread... I know, but the concept might be useful to other newbies like it was to me.
if the "official" spec doesn't come with the hitch you can always look up the part numbers from the civilian units.
I added the "TP2" auxiliary battery to my 09 Suburban LT by getting the proper part numbers and using a little bit of electrical know how.
a handfull of dealers now run online parts stores and can source you the parts. some of the Factory OEM harnesess for my TP2 upgrade were least expensive at amazon and/or rockauto, look for the RA 5% discount codes online too.
