Default Tire Concerns - 2015 LTZ with 22 inch rims

Curious what experience the rest of you are having with 22 inch tires on the 2015 and newer Suburbans? I currently have 49K on the truck and am about half way through my second set of tires. OEM were the Duelers, and I replaced them with Michelin Premier LTX's which were supposed to be the best out there. The duelers wore uneven so I am having it aligned at ever oil change with these Michelins but, I am surprised they are wearing out so quickly. Overall, we do pretty normal driving, living in the Dallas area. Am I really going to need to plan for a new (and EXPENSIVE) set of tires every 30,000 miles?
