Default Tires '05 Tahoe Z71

I have an '05 Z71 Tahoe with a set of '08 20" LTZ wheels. The OEM 275-55-20 Bridgestones are about gone. How large can I go without having to lift or having clearance problems?
Thanks!

99,

I think the OEM optional 20's for your vehicle were 285/50.
Do you know exactly how wide the 2008 Rims are ?
Also, you looking for street, A/T, mud/snow ?

I think they are 8" wide. they are the OEM rims. I am looking at 99% highway and occasional beach riding. Looks like I am going with Goodyear LS2 Eagles 275-55-20.

99,

Those LS2's are 10.1" wide. That's 2" wider than your rims, and they are about 1" larger in diameter than the OEM. So, that is a larger tire than the originals.
That tread pattern sure looks smooth, should give a very good ride.
I'd recommend 38 lbs as your normal Cold Inflation Pressure.

Bought the LS2s. Got them yesterday, so far I am very pleased. Slightly taller than the Bridgestones and seem to ride a little better. $770 out the door plus an $80 rebate!
