Before you buy, I would actuall check with a rim distributor. Why, TOYO tires were originally made for speed. They were made famous by those Fast & Furious movies and were on those tiny fast cars. Slammed has his on 17 inch rims, which leaves him PLENTY of rubber between his rim and the road. You'll be putting your's on a 20 inch rim which will leave you less rubber on a tire not built for weight, let alone, on a larger rim. I realize it's got a sweet looking tread pattern, but it's not meant to carry the weight of a Tahoe on a rim larger than 16 inches. Look at the NITTO tires. Built primarily for larger SUV's. They have a more sturdy sidewall and have a nice history with larger wheels.

I have Toyos on my 24's. They are fantastic. I've been running them for two summers now. If you want the Toyos get the Toyos.

Toyo is not going to put out an unsafe product. Ofcourse they are going to thoroughly test the larger diameter tires they make.

I haven't heard of anyone running big wheel toyos having any problems at all.

I've been a cop for 22 1/2 years & I've actually seen some of them at accident scenes. I'm not trying to blast TOYO tires, but the cause ofSOME of the accidents was tire failure. EvenSOME of the drivers stated that their tires hit a pothole and simply blew out. If you want them, get them, but you asked& I'mjust putting my 2 cents in.

typically I go for the tonka look and had 31X1050's on my 97 but on my 07 I want to keep the refined sporty look and I like the look of the Toyo's but now I'm reconsidering.
