I am believe all 5.3L have the 4L60E if you have a half ton vehicle...
The 3/4 ton have the 4L80E....
I don't think the RPO codes will say what transmission is in the vehicle or at least mine does not...
The transmission should have markings on the side but I have no idea if you can see them easily....

the M30 RPO code is the 4L60E
MT1 is the 4L80E....


4L60E -- 4 Speed (M30)
6L80E -- 6 Speed (MYC)
4L80E - 4 Speed (MT1)

Wouldn't the 07 2500s have MYD, the 6L-90? That's what my 08 has.
