Default Used Suburban Mileage? 2008+

Looking for some guidance from the forum on purchasing a used Suburban. Right now, I have a 2010 Traverse and we need a little more room. The dog, kids, stuff.. etc. The Traverse is great, but more room is ticket right right now. We are thinking of selling the Traverse and finding a used Suburban for what we need it for and keep it as our travel or hauling car when we need it. (not the everyday car).

Looking to spend about $30k or less, but could go more. I really like have the backup camera, but the Nav sucks in GM cars.. its worthless. The DVD system is great to have, but Im guessing I could add a DVD system if I need to the head rests, etc.

At what point do Suburbans start to need some love? Id like to get into one with less than 70k miles on it.. but not sure what point they start to need money put into them.

Trying to avoid the dealerships and find a private seller, etc. 2010 and higher year would be great because of the changes they made for MPGs (not much, but some).

Thanks for your input!
