I realized there were drain holes but they clearly wernt large enough causing small dirt to build up and clog the hole so I made it better. Rather have more and larger holes than my door full of water rusting and cusing electrical issues.

Matthew, you need to start a new post. this post is 11 years old. Members don't like replying to an old old post.

Good Luck.

Default 2008 Tahoe water leak

I have the same issue on my Tahoe. I noticed it after the rubber boot was removed to run the back up camera wires. It’s not installed back all the way. I’ll check that first. The drains on the doors were clogged up with dirt and the doors felt heavy after days of rain. Hopefully this resolves my issues. Did anyone do anything different or had to take theirs to the dealership for new seals? TIA

Default Water leak

I have the same problem in my 2008 Chevy suburban when I got a backup camera installed. After reading your post I check my wiring boot and sure enough it was popped up on the top part and wouldn't seal properly. I just sealed it all the way around with some caulking, hoping that will work.
