Default Weird creaking noise from 04 Tahoe

It's made this strange creaking noise since I got it. It only happens from a stop, when I slowly accelerate like at a drive thru. It's sounds like metal scrapping something. It disappears with fast acceleration and regular speed. It's definitely coming from the under carriage. Some times its not bad, other times its embarrassing. Any ideas? I've listened to u joint noises and it's nothing like that. 138k miles.

Seeing my mechanic on Tuesday. Oddly enough, was downtown the other day and a Burb rolled up with the SAME noise.

If you have the 2 piece driveshaft, it could be the center support bearing. I had that problem on my 99 Silverado.
