Weird stuff going on!
This is for my 07 burb LT - 180k
For sometime now I have been hearing a noise bouncing of the wall of my house as I go down my driveway. then yesterday, while driving 65 mph on the highway, I hear a constant 'dull' sound from what I think is the rear end (sound travels so I'm not even sure where it was coming from).
Today I jacked the rear up and removed the wheels and got under to look it over and I don't see any obviously loose or broken pieces. I put it in gear and heard the grinding (mostly on the drivers side) near the disks. I did pads awhile ago and there was no noise then. the pads still have meat on them.
I have been reading about the ebrake but not sure if that's the real cause. For a brief moment it sounded like it was transmitting to the banjo.
Any thoughts?
