for future ref: post your model, year and engine size.

what are you using for a scan tool? it could be a configuration error.
there are only p, c, b and u codes.
what module is the code setting in? better yet post a screen shot.

Default N0499

My bad, I thought it was on my profile what kind of truck I had. But it's a 2004 Chevy Tahoe 5.3l Z71 flex fuel and I used a Nonda Zus car scanner and it gave me the N0499 code. But I just bought a Creader Elite GM scanner. It don't even bring up that N0499 code. Only codes is giving me is small leak evap codes, no communication with drivers panel and that dabum knock sensors for low frequency on knock sensor 1. I changed my knock sensors 4 or 5 times already and bout to go under the intake manifold again.. smh.

UPDATE: I found the vacuum leak. It was my intake manifold gasket. But it kept saying evap system. Now I'm still getting the P0327 trouble code again. I dunno what the deal is with that #1 knock sensor . I changed the harness, new sensor, a OEM intake manifold gasket and still got the code. It was good for a day or 2 and then it popped up again smh. But at least I solved my vacuum leak.

Can anyone tell me what you pose to torque the knock sensor down too?

Then it's probably not the sensors.
I don't know what "dabum knock sensors for low frequency on knock sensor" means.
What are the actual codes?

Dabum is a word my granddad came up with. Instead of cussing he used dabum or dabummit when he's really mad. I got these codes on my 2004 Chevy Tahoe 5.3l Z71 flex fuel. P0128 , P0327 , P0446 , U1096

p0128 thermostat rationality...change the thermostat

p0327 1 Disconnect the inline harness connector behind the upper intake manifold. The 2 terminal connector will contain a Lite Blue and a Dark Blue wire.

2. Measure the resistance from each wire to ground and expect approximately 100,000 +/- 7K ohms.

p0446 possible restriction in the evap vent line or cannister...make sure the vent solenoid open and closes...make sure the cannister is not clogged and the vent line and filter is not blocked.

ucode is a loss of comm dtc. you need to post what module set the code and the module that is off line. the code must be active to diagnose. if its stored, clear it out and see if it resets.
