Oh,,,, that weren't "built-in". Me and my boy (Bubba) hads to custom install that there high-speed tow device.

You can also see my sister's dream machine in the background, we likes to keep that parked right up against the trailer (er.... house), it keeps the flies off of things.

I had the same car! Sold it about a year and a half ago. Thing was sucking my bank account dry, but it sure was fun. Have you thought about selling yours? I miss mine.

SWEET!

I had to sell my '68 in '78 as the family wasn't fitting anymore and I sure didn't want to give up the '73 Corvette.

Just saw a '68 go for $25K at the last Mecum in FLA.

Are those '69 headrests? Didn't think could get in '68.

Nice firebird! Hatch

I can say I willnever sell it but there is always something out there that can catch your eye

If anyone is interested I know someone selling a 1972 Corvette Pristine Condition needs absolutely nothing completely restored.
She bought it 6 months ago and has it stored. She never drives it so she want's to get rid of it.
Red, 350, automatic. In California $20,000
She's planning on E-bayin it If she doesn't find someone interested.

Thanks, I'm really digging the color of your Bird.I learned my lesson about black cars, never again.

How long have you owned yours? Stick, auto? It's hard to tell from the pics because of the lighting, but does your car have the 400 grill? You're making me jealous and envious. I want mine back now.

I love the color as well. The car is a driver definatley not show material. I wanted a car that the family and I could enjoy and we do. The grill is a 400 grill. I will be getting the car repainted after I swap out the 350TH automatic trans with a new 700R4 w/overdrive.

I have owned it forabout 2 1/2 years. I bought it sight unseen from a consignment dealer in Connecticut and had it shipped toCali. I was nervouse as hell until it arrived but it was exactly what I hoped for.

I have to sayyour bird looked really nice. I can't evenimagine how you sold it. How much didyou get for it? Was itnumbers matching?

I will take some new pictures of mine. Back then my digital camera sucked.

I did the same, bought mine via the Internet from a consignment in St. Paul and had it shipped to Seattle. Mine was nice, but after owning it for a while I could tell a previous owner had pieced the car together, or at least that's the feeling I got. It ran really strong but it also ran really hot.

I purchased it for 15k, put new brakes on up front, did some electrical work, etc., and sold the car a year later for 16.5k. If I pushed it I could have sold it for more money, but 16.5k was a fair price. The guy that bought it from me drove from Spokane to Seattle and he wanted to drive it all the way back to Spokane, which mademe nervous since I got scared just driving it around town. Low and behold, he calls me the next morning from Spokane to let me know one of the rear wheels sheared all the lug nuts and came off the car about two hours into the drive. He had it towed all the way to Spokane that night for $600. Feeling bad, I mailed him a check for half the tow bill
