What would you pay?
I have always liked the suburbans and have wanted one lately. A good friend of mine told me about a Suburban 2500 that his father has that he is going to sell. It's a 1998 2500 LT with leather seating for 9. It is 2wd and has 63,000 one owner miles. It has the 4:10 rear end with heavy duty towing. Tires are good as is everything cosmetic.
According to his son, he is wanting somewhere around $6500-$7000. I could use a Suburban for hauling firewood etc (not to mention I have 4 children so the extra room is nice) but not sure of the price. I don't trust KBB anymore so wanted to get some unbiased opinions. At this price would you pay it especially given where gas is going right now? Your thoughts are greatly appreciated!

cash
I sold my 1995 219,000 mile 2 door Tahoe 4WD for $2500 last weekend.
also try edmunds.com for the 'true market value'...
it's worth whatever someone will pay for it... not what any web site says...
I'm not a fan of 2WD SUVs; but I live in PA where it likes to snow...
Bench seats in all 3 rows? no thanks... I like the captains chairs... 2nd 3rd maybe...
