Default wheel bearings

2012 Tahoe LT. replaced both front bearing hubs at 62000 miles. Most miles are "road miles of 2000 miles per trip over 3 years. Have there been any recalls or bulletins regarding this failure? Repair cost was $800.

As much as I like to rip on GM... moving parts wear out. If you want to save some cash, you can do it yourself.
It's not too hard. My 04 Wrangler liked to chew up hubs, since I put 35" tires on it...

I'd wager 1/2 your bill was labor. I enjoy working on stuff, I find it fun...

The fact they have been done before would lead me to think as well they wouldn't be too hard. But I worked on a 08 silverado that was a royal you know what to replace. I think the air chisel is finally what got it loose lol.
