The factory overhead/flipdown works great with an aftermarket unit (mine is a Kenwood 6019 with G510 nav, also XM unit with nav traffic. Also added Kenwood ccd900 backup camera). Also the steering wheel controls work excellent with the Kenwood providing you purchase the PAC adapter. You will loose none of the controls. I also was able to patch into the A/V input in the center rear console.

I'm a happy camper now and can do more than the factory setup. I also forgot to add that I installed the new hideaway Kenwood TV unit. Gosh this new unit is awesome. The antennas are traces on the window that you can barely see. I placed both on the rear window. As you can see the factory radio antenna traces are on the other rear window. The factory traces are huge and ugly.

nilsm,

Please explain how the rear factory dvd works with this set up? Can you be playing a dvd that you listen to through the factory headphones, while the radio is playing through the speakers? Or is it just one or the other? HOw does this all work? Thanks, landon.
