Wires hanging
OK I have a 1997 suburban 4x4 with the 7.4 vortec, automatic mileage is unknown as the cluster has been changed a few times. Any how these wires are frayed and laying about. I have no idea what these are for. But the truck runs perfectly.
Thanks!

Those are for the towing connector at the back of the truck. They are preinstalled for adding a brake controller. One for power, the other for the signal to the trailer brakes. If you look on the drivers side under the back bumper you will see the other ends.

That looks right Nathan. Thanks buddy, I'm just gonna trim and tape them back for now. I'm planning some fun stuff for this truck.
Looking into an sas and a big lift. Currently looking for information concerning that as well.
I.e. Best year make and model front end to run under the truck. Source of drive shaft and any common problem folks run into with the swaps.
Also I should mention I am a welder fabricator in the San Antonio area. Of the great state of Texas.
Thanks again!
